James Bond

Checking out some james bond novels. yup.... old books are the best cos they've been loved before i got to them. Ian Fleming is a pretty interesting author, and to top it off.... it's easier to read some james bond alone then to watch the movies.... even though sean connery is pretty awesome....

I'm not sure how i feel about the new james bond movie coming up.... i've yet to see any of the daniel craig james bonds, so there I stand.

and now i really wanna go book shopping.... just a sudden desire to browse through stacks of books and maybe buy some.

Grand Day..... or so I am led to believe.... :P

So...... the upside to being a bad planner? there are some really attractive guys that are not in my class. man..... i'm starting to think that maybe I should wander more often.  besides..... i will not always be stuck with immaturity.... i shall be moving up in life sooner or later.  I was gonna hang out with someone who's really awesome.... i hope.... seeing as it's been a while since i've seen him...... :P just kidding... of course he's really awesome.... it's just that we both suck at planning.

nice and/or attractive guys aside, i just finished Zombies VS. Unicorns, and let me tell you..... i have never read more stories with gay people in one book than i did in this set of short stories. and it was really awkward...... especially when it came out of nowhere..... and there was a lot of that..... i am way more team zombie than team unicorn.
but only because zombies aren't expected to be all nice and rainbows and sparkles and butterflies. that's what i expect out of a unicorn. i don't like the transformation of unicorn into an evil creature..... ew.... besides.... there's more action in a zombie story. :)

Out of exile

now i know how the jews felt when they came out of exile. free. i can finally breathe easy knowing that i don't have to watch my bum on where i'm heading, i can hit up all of my sites, not just the three "legal" ones..... you know... the couple that i am okay with logging into on a different computer.

which has nothing to do with any book but the bible. or a history book. and since i'm not a jew and the jews did not have computers.... i end my comparison.

a little so called ranty rant

pottermore is ridiculous.
it's spend more time in beta than it was supposed to. And no one is supposed to be buggered by this. it's only bothering me cos i feel that it should have been tested and then let fly.... oh well.... maybe we'll see it unveiled for harry's birthday.

But anyways.... you'd think that something that was so much longedfor/hopedfor would be a bit more put together before you start promising the world that "i've got a jar of dirt!" you know... the wonderful stuff..... awesome harry potter stuff..... i'm not jealous of the kids who are already in the pottermore, but i'm just a bit upset that she set a date and then the people in charge decided that "we should just not let the regular joes look at this just yet, even tho it's been promised and made to look bloody awesome." you know..... next time, i hope that i'm just going to get something solid that i can hold onto. no more false hopes.

Bloody Amazing

Julie Klassen is a grand writer. i wasn't exactly sure what i was going to thing about her at first, seeing as not only is she a Christian author, but she writes r-r-r-*spits it out* romance. it was surprisingly good. well... the silent governess was the best so far.... and i even bought the girl in the gatehouse. cannot wait to read it.
So..... i challenged myself to read 437 books in 2012.... so i insist that everyone else make a goal to read a few books in 2012 also. but please.... count the number of days in the year before you make your goal, cos otherwise you might find yourself having to read more than one book a day. :P

Realizations

So I realized suddenly that i wasted an awful lot of time on the Pretty Little Liars series. I mean, I love the girls to death and all, but i think it was perfectly alright before Sara Shepard came back and wrote more. I hate the feeling that I get when i see something that's definitely not going to turn out well. i have honestly thrown the books across the room before. I really want some of that time back.

and now..... i have to honestly say this. I am glad that i read Lord of the Flies, but what depresses me the most is who told me to read it. i really wish that someone else had said "hey go read Lord of the Flies" especially since that loserbum got me all confused. i was looking for more than was there from the summary that he gave me. and so yeah.

I hope that everyone has a supermegafoxyawesomehot new year. :)
